Light and movement – Davy Scheffers freestyle windsurfing animation

This is pretty cool. Regular Windsurfing UK contributor and Lanzarote windsurfing oracle Russell Groves has been working with freestyle star Davy Scheffers and come up with this animation featuring one of Davy’s moves.

Having filmed Davy busting free during one of his sessions Russel has broken down the move frame by frame, sequenced and then animated coming up with the finished product below. As an exercise in light and movement it looks awesome and showcases the dynamism of freestyle windsurfing. Click on below to see the result.
